Kinder
Classes
4-6 years old
Our Kinder students will explore nature through art, music and movement !
Students will learn to identify birds, plants and seasonal changes around us.

These once-a-month programs are an opportunity for students to learn about local wild plants and animals and their importance!
We meet outside at beautiful preserves, parks and nature centers to give students a meaningful experience with nature. In each of our MONTHLY programs, students will be taught about nature conservation efforts, plant identification, and wild animal species. Students will be given a bound Nature Journal and step-by-step instructions on how to sketch, draw and paint the things we discover around us. All materials are provided.
Each programs learning focus are outlined in the descriptions below. Students use artist-grade materials in watercolor, colored pencil and charcoal.
We teach our students step-by-step instructions to master new artistic skills according to their individual level and ability. We guide our students to use skills of observation to achieve a realistic drawing of the plant or animal they are painting!
In each class, students will complete two-three pages of beautiful Nature journaling to take home- at the end of the Semester.
These beautiful Nature Journals will be a keepsake!
Join us each month and learn about the local flora and fauna in the greater Sacramento area!
